Intro to Grooming Package

Do you have a puppy or a dog who has never been to a professional groomer before?
The Intro to Grooming Package is mandatory for all dogs who have never been to a groomer before that wish to have a bath or haircut.

Grooming is a skill just like all the others that we have to teach our dogs. Our Intro package is 3 short visits to be used within 3 weeks or less. These mini session introduce your dog to the sights and sounds of the salon, and helps them to get comfortable with standing on a table, being blow dried, handled and crated.

Upon completion of the first three visits, we will assess if your dog is ready for a full haircut or if they need more shorter visits (assuming they need a full haircut)

Package Price: Puppies 10wks to 4 months: $45 4 months to 6 months $55 over 6 months $65

Bath & Brush

This service includes a bath with shampoo & conditioner, blow dry, brush out, nail trimming and ear cleaning. This is great for short coated dogs who don’t need a haircut, or for keeping longer fur well maintained in between haircuts. If your dog just needs a tidy up (trimming on the face, feet, sani and tail) we can add that on too.

Bath & Haircut

This is the nose-to-tail makeover. It includes everything in the Bath & Brush service, plus a full body haircut of your choice. The price is dependent upon the type of coat, and weight of the dog.

Melissa G.

Melissa has been grooming since she opened No Barks About It in 2011 after graduating from Cornell’s Animal Science program.

She grew up working with horses, and added dogs to her personal and professional life in college. Originally dreaming of being a veterinarian, Melissa found her passion in grooming!

Dawn N.

Dawn has been with No Barks since it opened in 2011 and has worked with animals in various capacities her whole adult life.

She loves all animals but is a self-professed “cat lady” as felines are her favorite.

You can often find her watching horror movies with her feline sidekick Kai!

Imani J.

Imani is the face you’ll see when you drop off your dog, as well as our resident groomer-in-training.

Imani has loved animals her whole life, and began working with them professionally in 2015. She is eager to continue her training so she can provide your dogs with a loving, and beautiful, groom!
